This is a guitar improvisation piece based on the process of Frippertronics. However, whereas that system made use of 2 reel-to-reel recorders, this one introduces a third. Two reel-to-reels are strung together with a tape loop, the first machine recording the signal on to the loop, the second machine playing it back, the output of both machines recording live to a third machine. With the live recording I then take that tape and string it up in the same system, with the recording playing normally and then adding a manual delay from the second machine.
