Score for the dance piece, Portal, choreographed by Ana Mendez, presented by the Miami Light Project in 2014. The piece is heavily inspired by the music of Sun Ra and explores the dismantling of reality to reach higher states of being.
I was given raw studio material performed by Steve Bristol and Ed Wilcox, which I then edited, rearranged, and added electronics to create the finished piece. The final element being the vocals by Blowfly, which are a recital of "cosmic philosophy" written by Sun Ra
